“I was  doing some mindfulness in my class even before I started this course. However I was using Youtube and the kids listened to and followed on with whatever particular person was on the video. During the course we were encouraged to lead the practices ourselves instead of using videos. I was of course nervous but I was also very adamant that the children wouldn't enjoy listening to me as I am the voice that is constantly giving instruction and giving out when needed. Therefore I felt my voice wouldn't instill calm. However as the weeks went on, I plucked up the courage and started leading practices myself in class. After a couple of weeks I asked the kids which they preferred, the Youtube version or myself doing the practices. They were all in agreement that they much preferred me leading the practise. I was genuinely shocked, couldn't believe that my voice could actually create such calm and at times sleepiness in the kids. I am very glad I pushed myself to do it, and I appreciate all the support.”

As a student teacher, I was initially unsure if this course directed at teachers would be relevant for me. However, I found the course to be incredibly beneficial and learned so many skills that I can apply when teaching. One of the aspects of the course that I particularly enjoyed was the mindfulness practices. They helped me to connect more deeply with myself, which is so important when it comes to teaching effectively. By understanding my thoughts and feelings better, I can respond to them in a more compassionate and constructive way. The trainer’s presentation and communication throughout this course was incredible. They created a warm, welcoming and safe environment for us to learn and practice mindfulness. As an experienced and knowledgeable teacher, they were able to provide an excellent learning experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this mindfulness course to anyone, whether they are a teacher or not. I feel a lot more connected with myself after this course, and mindfulness practices have become a part of my daily routine.


There is a great balance on the course - information, discussion and practices are all key components and so well intertwined. Participants are provided with a lovely handbook at the start and following each session, the trainer emails detailed notes and supplementary material on the particular topic of the session. It is one of the best courses in mindfulness that I have done and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Don't hesitate - just sign up for it as you won't regret it. Plus your students will benefit from it too!

With a calm, steady, attentive manner, the trainer represents what I would like to become for myself.
